If you’ve been looking for an opportunity to share yoga and earn your RYT-200 at a gentle yoga teacher training, but have not found a program that resonated with you because programs you’ve researched were too focused on challenging asanas more than the other benefits of yoga, this training may be perfect for you. Your trainer, Dana Will, understands that yoga is not in the asanas alone, but in the way we live our lives. You will be given the chance to practice teaching at a pace that suits you while being introduced to each of the gentle, therapeutic, restorative styles mentioned above. Our RYT-200 that focuses on gentle yoga will offer you this and so much more!
RYT-200 Gentle Yoga Teacher Training Florida: This is a great way to start your yoga career or to simply enhance your personal practice and deepen your knowledge. Baby boomers are flocking to yoga, and most of them don’t want hot yoga or the most challenging postures; they want a style of yoga geared toward their aging bodies and emotional/spiritual maturity. I rarely ever hear, “I wish there were more challenging yoga classes” but I often hear, “I wish there were more gentle, beginner or restorative yoga classes.” You can help fill this need.
You’ll deepen your personal yoga practice in a meaningful way that’s difficult to put into words. We spend a lot of time with introspection and personal work, because unless we are truly immersed in our personal yoga practice (not just an asana practice), it will be impossible for us to share yoga with an approach that helps our students live their yoga “off the mat” since we can’t share what we don’t have. While we love asanas and devote a lot of time to pose breakdown, teaching you alignment, cuing and adjusting, we want you to come out of this training with so much more than asana. Some of the greatest yogis in the world have physical limitations that prevent them from doing complex postures, but that doesn’t hinder their yoga practice in any way because they realize there is so much more than asana. We will all age and our physical bodies may decline, but our yoga practice can continue to grow throughout our lives!
