All retreats can be taken as 2 or 3 nights:
July 18th or 19th-21st August 8th or 9th-11th November 14th or 15th-17th (The November weekend is for those with previous yoga experience.) A weekend to slow down and experience some greater clarity and wellbeing. We encourage you to come for a 3 night weekend to enjoy more time away from it all! If this isnt possible for you, we will reserve some spaces for those arriving on Friday.

Going away on a retreat weekend encourages us to come face to face with ourselves, in a warm, supportive environment. This can be challenging but ultimately it leads to greater self-knowledge and to a life lived more intelligently, and with a greater sense of ease and wellbeing.
Balabrook is a stunning, peaceful and healing place, on the edge of Dartmoor there are beautiful walks from the door, streams to paddle or wade dive into and moors to cross!?? We will live simply and ask that you contribute to the clearing and washing up of meals provided as a loving act of karma yoga!
Laura Gilmore will lead the weekends, and share with you her depth of understanding of yoga, simple pranayama (breath practices) and meditation. The weekends are suitable for those with a genuine interest in yoga and deepening their understanding of yoga and of themselves through their practice. The weekend will offer time to nourish our bodies with our yoga practice, walks, massage and rest; to settle our minds with breath and meditation practices.
The food will be fresh, delicious, largely organic, vegetarian food created to nourish your body and soul! ?? We are really delighted to have Julie Mack a really talented and special chef joining us again for these weekends.

Followed by walks or go home!
