Week One: November 8-10, Invitation to Wisdom, Bala. Principles of Gentle/Bala Yoga: active to restorative
Week Two: December 13 - 15, The Spaces in Between A study of the alignment, purpose & healing potential of standing asanas, the subtle anatomy & transitions
Week Three: January 31 – February 2, Healing with the Chakras Initiate a confident teaching voice, theme based teaching & use of props / therapeutic uses of asana
Week Four: February 28 – March 2, Elemental Progression?Demystify arm balances, therapy & love for back/neck and using sacred wisdom to guide our teaching
Week Five: April 11 - 13, Views From the Chariot?Poetic Theme: meeting our students in the mind & heart as well as the body + inversions as full body progressions
Week Six: May 16 - 18, Meaning More than Mastery?Confidence in personal practice, hands on assists + teaching yoga to special populations – yoga for anxiety & depression
Week Seven: June 13-15, Truth in Offering, Truth in Expression, Shri in Refinement Evolve all aspects of teaching; confidence, one on one sessions & refinement of teaching skills
