Learn how to lead an exceptional yoga class by guiding your students into the deeper states of yoga—the internal stages of Kripalu Yoga!
In this training, we’ll explore the methodologies and language needed to guide Stage II, the “Sustaining Phase” of postures, and Kripalu Yoga Stage III “Meditation in Motion.” You’ll be better able to help your students see with the new eyes of non-duality, deepening their connecting with self, spirit and all that is. You’ll learn how to deepen practice without exceptional flexibility and challenging advanced pranayama techniques.
This training will include:
The philosophical basis for depth practice.
Teaching methods to take your students deeper into their being.
Specific techniques to deepen the experience of inner focus, concentration and witnessing—the meditative aspects of yoga.
The next steps for your development as a yoga teacher.
Specific skill building.
And approaches to modifications for teaching seniors and people with special conditions.

Your Instructor: Rudy Peirce, MA, E-RYT 500, has studied and practiced yoga and meditation for more than 30 years. A Kripalu Yoga teacher since 1983, he guides accessible and gentle yoga, using a self-empowering, mindful approach that facilitates deep release for beginners as well as experienced practitioners. Rudy--often called "The Master of Mellow"-- has been on the Kripalu faculty for more than two decades and currently serves as a trainer for the Kripalu School of Yoga in 200-hour and 500-hour level trainings.
