Four Fabulous Workshops. One Great Weekend. October 16-18, 2015
Beginning Handstands (Fri, Oct 16, 1.00 – 3.00pm): If you’ve always wanted to stand on your hands, but were too afraid to try, this workshop is for you. We will start from the ground up, learning the basics of handstands and demystifying the pose. A safe, accessible, and non-frightening workshop for absolute beginners.
“Living off the Wall” Handstands (Fri, Oct 16, 5 – 7.30pm): In this workshop, we will focus on helping people who can already kick up into handstand at the wall to derive the strength, balance and confidence to shift their handstand practice to the middle of the room.
Level 1/2 Arm Balances (Sat, Oct 17, 12 – 2.30pm): Balancing on your hands can be one of the most empowering and exhilarating aspects of your yoga practice. In this arm balance workshop, we will deconstruct the foundations poses to establish a strong and confident arm balance practice.
Level 2/3 Arm Balances (Sun, Oct 18, 9-11.30am): In this workshop, we will learn how to transition between arm balances and inversions, experimenting with all the playfulness that yoga has to offer.
