Introduction to Hatha Yoga with Elizabeth Carls, CYT A Workshop for New Students Sunday, September 8th from 12pm-2pm

This 2 hour yoga workshop is designed to introduce students to Hatha yoga and lay a foundation that encourages students to continue a yoga practice. We will work with standing postures, balance, seated postures and gentle twists.

We will also introduce simple breathing techniques and a gentle flow coordinated with breath (vinyasa). The workshop will conclude with meditation instruction and a brief guided meditation. Modifications and alternatives will be offered throughout so that people new to yoga, people with injuries, and people of all body types have a happy and healthy yoga experience.

Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend. This is a great way to start a yoga practice for Fall!
