Yoga On Boat by Seda Shambhavi Kervanoglu 7th-14th June 2014 We meet at Datça harbour in the afternoon/early evening. After meeting with everyone we sail and anchor in one of the most beautiful bays of the peninsula named Gokliman. Here we do yoga nidra to get rid of the stress of what we left behind and do a sankalpa for the week. Next day, we start the day with morning yoga session which consists of breathing, kriyas, sun salutations, asanas, deep relaxation and meditation before a rich breakfast. Sailing towards Aktur where we can swim, snorkel and go on shore for a walk through the pine trees. After lunch, it’s free time to have a nap or sunbathing on the deck, swim or snorkell. Later on, depending on the weather conditions we are sailing toward to the Dirsek bay to spend the night. This bay is well protected and has clear waters ideal for snorkelling and fishing. You will experience the floating market here. Some local girls come on small boats and try to sell their hand made products. We will have our late afternoon yoga session while our lovely crew prepares our dinner. We will practice yoga every morning and every late afternoon more or else at the same times and some evenings Seda will lead the group to different meditation sittings and others w e will watch some videos on yoga, ayurveda and spiritual development.

After breakfast we leave this beautiful bay behind and sail toward to the Bencik bay. We have lunch in this bay which is covered by beautiful pine trees. The Bencik bay is located on the narrowest part of the peninsula. This is a wonderful place where the sea leads deep into the land and creates many other bays.

After serving lunch here we sail towards Orhaniye. Some activities are available in this place; such as water sports or banana riding or jet ski riding. Waterfall and village tour, or horse riding tour can be organised according to your wishes. We have dinner and spend the night here. After breakfast we anchor again in one of the most beautiful bays of the Hisaronu gulf for lunch break. Later on we sail to Selimiye to supply food and fresh water for the boat and we spend the night here where we can go on shore and explore the town. Next morning we head to a nearby bay for breakfast. After breakfast we have a stop near the Kamelya island on our way. There is an antic church on the island and people may visit the church if they like. We sail towards the Bozburun area and anchor in one of the bays there. If everyone wishes we also visit the Bozburun village and later we anchor in Adaagzi bay near Bozburun. Next day we start early from here and anchor in a bay named Agios Georgios on the Symi island. We have breakfast here and later we return to the Turkish waters and drop the anchor in the Domuzcukuru bay for lunch break. This bay is surrounded by pine trees and it has a long beach with colorful little stones. We leave this bay behind and we head to Hayitbuku which is a bay of the village named Mesudiye. Hayitbuku is a lovely place where it has some restaurants and cafes along its sandy beach. After breakfast here we sail to the Inceburun bay. After about 1 hour sailing we anchor here for lunch. After the tea service we sail to the Datca harbour. We say good-bye to each other. All Yoga, meditation sessions, evening sits with the teacher, food, fresh water, tea, instant coffee and shared cabins are inclusive of €800 per person.
