You always hear your instructors mention the chakras, but do you wonder what a Chakra even is? Chakras, literally meaning 'wheel' or 'vortex' in Sanskrit, are major intersecting points of the energy pathways in the body. There are 7 main Chakras that run from the base of the spine to the top of the head. In this 2 hour workshop, we will delve into the Chakra system. We will discuss what energy is and how the Chakras effect us. We will also use breathwork and short meditations to learn what yoga postures activate and balance each chakra. ***Things to bring: journal or notepad and pen*** 1-3pm Pre-registration is required, as space is limited.
