6 Weekend Intensives (dates): March 21-23 April 11-13 May 2-4 May 23-25 June 13-15 July 11-13 Times for weekend intensives: Fridays 5:30pm- 10:30pm / Saturday 8:00am- 8:00pm / Sunday 8:00am- 8:00pm

Applications are reviewed on a first-come first-serve basis. Download an application, complete in full with your non-refunable $50 application processing fee and turn in to Sid Yoga. Applications will be reviewed within one week of receipt.

$500 deposit $2,000 remaining tuition = $2,500 total
Tuition includes all training hours by Sid McNairy, Lindsay Lusignea and fellow SYTT facilitators, yoga classes and workshops in the studio during training hours, exclusive SYTT materials and manuals, and continued support and guidance throughout your training hours and development. Tuition excludes meals and transportation. Additional fees include books required for 200-hour training and yoga classes in the studio for the duration of your training. Trainees receive special discounted rates for yoga classes and on all Sid Yoga workshops and products
Our program is a Yoga Alliance 200hr Registered Yoga School.
Lead , teach and inspire! Immerse yourself deeper into the world of yoga. This training is held exclusively at Sid Yoga’s foundation home studio in Towson, MD. Your process begins with an inward exploration by completing our exclusive, “Empowerment & Beyond” program, which is a six week self study yoga program practicing reflection, wisdom and peace. Over the duration of the four months, you will attend six weekend intensives that will educate, inspire and empower you to teach yoga.
Overall program curriculum includes: Our exclusive “Empowerment & Beyond” program Personal growth through group discussions and exercises Philosophy of yoga: how to practice it in your life and how to teach this in your classes Focused study in the Yoga Sutras & modern Ethics of teaching yoga Hands-on Assisting & Adjusting techniques Live in-class assisting practice Basics anatomy of yoga poses and movement Sequencing of postures and classes Methodology and techniques of teaching Develop skills and tools to teach to all-levels Practice teaching classes and direct group feedback Come away from the training ready to teach a dynamic and inspiring 60-90 minute power vinyasa class Awaken your spirit and ignite your life Intro to business of yoga and establishing yourself as a teacher “Live it to give it” = our program motto. Throughout the course, trainees are asked to attend three yoga classes per week at Sid Yoga Center, attending class with Sid and Lindsay as often as possible. Receive discounts on all classes, packages, workshops and more! In order to teach to others, we first walk the course in our own life. To empower others, we are to first empower ourselves. Teach from YOUR strengths. With emphasis on personal strengths in an encouraging and fun environment, teach from your heart with a clear, strong voice . This intimate course of study highlights the unique gifts you bring to the world. Learn to teaching classes that are expressive of who you are, and lead others on a path of physical and spiritual awakening.
Mentorship. Experience first-hand support from other Sid Yoga teachers along your journey. We are truly one big FAMILY and supportive community. You will gain access to practicing in Sid Yoga classes which will instill the teachings inside you. You are arranged in a small group with a mentor, a Sid Yoga teacher, to have direct support throughout the program with bi-weekly check-ins.
World-class training. We practice experiential learning, meaning most of your course work will be hands on . You will learn unique and valuable techniques of teaching, and apply those directly in the classroom setting. Our graduates feel readyand inspired to teach yoga around the world. Sid McNairy is asked by studios around the world to lead teacher trainings and teacher enhancement weekends at their studios (see Sid’s tour schedule here). Currently, we have various teacher training graduates teaching yoga on 6 out of 7 continents. Additional program requirements are text book readings, community Karma yoga teaching internship, a self-evaluated DVD of you teaching, and final reflection papers.

For those traveling:
All training hours are held at Sid Yoga Center, in Towson, MD. Those participating in the training from out of the area are responsible to scheduling own flight and places to stay during training hours. All hours are required to attend. Sid Yoga will assist you in your travels by making local recommendations for your needs during your stay in Towson/Baltimore area. Trainees may bring their own food for lunch and dinner breaks. There are several health food stores and various places to eat in short walking distance from the studio.
