This Introductory workshop is open to students brand-new to the Tibetans and to those who want a refresher course.
The "5 Tibetans" is a basic—yet often little-known—yoga practice. This powerful ancient yoga rite gives you a quick physical workout, leading to physical, emotional, mental and spiritual transformation. The Tibetans can be practiced in small spaces with little time. All you need is a few minutes, and enough space to swing your arms around or to do a push up. The 5 Tibetans can also be used as a warm-up for other exercises.
The Tibetans strengthen your muscular, glandular and nervous systems, and energize your emotional body. Done in the morning before breakfast, the practice can "energize you like a double expresso without any of the negative side effects."
The Tibetans aim to normalize the speed of our chakras—the spinning energy centers along our spine—that affect every aspect of who we are and how we experience life. They balance our endocrine—the system that produces the harmones which regulate our organs and affect tissues within the body as well as the aging process.
The Tibetans can be strenuous, but modifications are shown and practiced in this Introductory workshop. Detailed HANDOUTS for home practice included.
