What the caterpillar calls the end, the rest of the world calls a butterfly (Lao Tse)

This retreat is open to everyone who wants to celebrate the New Year in a joyful and mindful way.Taking time to relax and reconnect with our inner being while enjoying Bali’s spiritual way of life. KuraKura is the ultimate place to fully unwind and relax.

The turn of the year is traditionally a time to reflect and set intentions for the upcoming cycle. Treat yourself and join us in this yoga- and meditation retreat in a special time of the year.

During this retreat we will focus on using the practice to deepen our understanding of what really matters to us in this life, what our heartfelt wishes and deepest intentions are. Experiencing the meditative movement of the body in a vinyasa flow practice may reconnect us with our joyful nature, whereas allowing ourselves to take time to feel and reflect in Yin-poses, may cultivate a more compassionate relationship with our body and mind. Both practices can help us free ourselves from old patterns and open up to new experiences while living life more from the heart.

We will have daily yoga sessions alternating Vinyasa flow- and Yin-Yoga, consisting of asana, meditation and pranayama exercises. Every session will hold a tone of mindfulness. In between you will have plenty of time to enjoy Kura Kura and it’s surroundings and engage in some special celebrations to ring in the New Year.

We welcome experienced practitioners as well as newcomers, since we are all learners, walking our path exactly from the place we are in now.

Annemieke van Noort is born in Holland and a dedicated teacher and practitioner of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga as well as Yin Yoga. She did her teacher trainings in Bali and Amsterdam. Annemieke is a practitioner of Tibetan Buddhist meditation and regularly studies with her meditation teachers. Her own style of teaching is characterized by her warm and calm presence, the clear and inspiring way of transmitting her knowledge to others and her unbiased attention for every individual student. In her teachings she interweaves the yoga practice with Buddhist meditation techniques.
