Does it ever feel when you roll out your yoga mat that you don’t know where to start your practice? Do you want to develop your home practice so can take your yoga anywhere?
On this retreat we will learn how to do just that. We will focus on different types of poses and explore how they influence our body, mind and energy. By starting from the foundation and focusing on alignment in the poses, this retreat will ensure you can develop a strong, steady and safe practice. We will then explore the art of sequencing poses to enhance our mental, physical and spiritual wellbeing.
We will also use the time away from our normal life to delve into the other limbs of yoga and discover how these can be introduced to your home practice and into your life.
We will see how our breath changes our mental state and how we can use breathing techniques to pause our reactions, taking time to make all of our decisions come from a calmer, more settled place inside ourselves.
Whether you are a beginner or practice yoga regularly, come and enjoy the peace and surroundings of the retreat and take away a new practice to develop and treasure.
