In this training we will look inward, at our bones, our practices and the habits of our minds. We will study anatomy as it relates to yoga and movement. We will examine our own practices, how our practice affects our teaching, and how our teaching can evolve and grow.
During this training, we will: introduce the basics of meditation develop individual mentorship as you begin a regular meditation practice study anatomy as it relates to movement and yoga build a regular home practice practice sequencing to combine the elements of anatomy, movement and mindfulness.
Kaia Yoga's 300 Hour Advanced Teacher Training program is a comprehensive experience consisting of three 100 Hour Advanced Training Modules. For a 500 Hour Certification, complete all three modules (Looking Inward, The Subtle Body and Expanding Outward) plus required assignments, assists and observations. Each training module focuses on a different aspect of teaching and includes expert guest teachers such as Beryl Bender Birch, Manorama, Joe Miller, Cyndi Lee, Alan Finger, Jean Koerner and Jillian Pranksy. Explore teaching Vinyasa yoga, therapeutics, meditation and philosophy. Training Times:
Fridays: 6:00 - 9:00pm Saturdays: 10:00 - 5:00pm Sundays: 8:30 - 5:00pm Training Dates (all dates are subject to confirmation as we finalize our schedule with visiting teachers): January 10-12 with David Nichtern, Gina Norman & Stan Woodman January 24-26 with Alan Finger, Gina Norman & Stan Woodman February 7-9 with Joe Miller
Tuition for this program is $1,600. For 300 Hour Yoga Teacher Certification take this Training along with "The Subtle Body" and "Expanding Outward" trainings for $4,200 total. (a $600 savings off the combined price)
A $500 deposit is required with your application to hold your place for consideration. Once accepted the remainder of the tuition is due.
