Shanti, is a Sanskrit word that means peace. A sanctuary where guests can pause, reflect, and connect in community with kindred spirits.

RETREAT INCLUDES: Daily yoga practice, guided silent morning walks, afternoon meditation, local organic vegetarian meals, great swimming, fun on the water tramp, use of canoe and kayaks, detoxifying infra-red sauna, and waterside bonfire.
All activities are optional of course…it’s your retreat. You may choose to just hang out in a hammock or find your sacred space along 1000 feet of private shoreline.
Monday: Arrival time is any time after 2pm 5:00pm – 6:30pm Yoga Class 7:00pm - Evening meal 8:15pm - Satsang (informal gathering)
Tuesday: 7 – 8am Breakfast 8am Silent morning walk 9 am Yoga class 12pm - Lunch Free time OR optional Vegetarian cooking class (1:30-4:30) 3:30pm – 4:15- Meditation 4:30pm – 6:30pm - Yoga class 6:45pm – Evening meal 8:00pm – Shanti Spiritual Cinema
Wednesday: Light breakfast (fruit, trail mix, oatmeal) 7:30am – Silent morning walk 8:30am – Yoga class 10:45am – brunch Departure is any time before 2pm.

GETTING TO SHANTI No car? No problem. We are conveniently serviced by Via Rail and Megabus.
Call us in advance to arrange a complimentary pick up on the island to Shanti Retreat.
It’s a scenic 20 minute free car ferry ride to this island getaway.
