Ayurveda, Pranayam and Hatha Yoga
Learn about healthy eating and lifestyle using the Ayurvedic principles of diet and the yoga practices of postures (asana), breathing techniques (pranayama) and meditation. Determine your body constitution (dosha) and the foods that are most suitable for you. Learn ayurvedic techniques for removing toxins, improving digestion and absorption, and regaining perfect health. Each class includes a discussion on an Ayurvedic principle of diet and how to integrate it in our current lifestyle, a short yoga practice, and weekly goals. Most classes include recipes or food samples. Prior yoga experience not required. Beginners are welcome.
Tuesdays: 11:00am - 12:00pm, starting April 22nd
Fees: $50, if registered by April 15th, $60 after that date.
