How to Be the Change You Desire Without Setting One Goal or Resolution with Angela Savatri Saturday, Jan. 11, 2-4 p.m. $25

• If you desire meaningful change in your life in 2014, it is time to look within. How often have you set a goal and was only partially or temporarily successful? How soon did you fall back into your regular ways and end up feeling defeated and frustrated despite your best intentions? Lasting change is an inner game. Creating goals and resolutions do not work if you have not created the conditions inside yourself to change. Your body, mind, spirit, and even your ego need to feel safe and resourced to support the change you desire. During this workshop, discover how to effortlessly BE the change you desire instead of relying on will power, goals, and resolutions that keep you spiraling in defeat and frustration. By combining principles of behavioral science, mindfulness, and embodiment, you will: • Learn why you have not been able to change in the past and how to approach change differently this year • Establish a personal vision of how you want to BE in 2014 • Identify and release resistance patterns like judgment, doubt, and self-critical voices that sabotage your success • Learn 3 mindfulness tools to gracefully interact with challenges and set-backs that are natural in the change process • Create a personalized action and accountability plan to support your next steps • Leave inspired to BE the change you desire for yourself, your loved ones, and the world!
