This program was requested by participants at last years weekend intensive with Erin. Michelle L. shared the following about the weekend, "Erin is a skilled weaver of yoga philosophy, practical tools and effective exercises to bring about real emotional change in her students. Her down-to-earth approach to our struggles in everyday life as well as our methods of self-soothing was spot on. The honesty and community of the participants made this intensive a very effective catalyst for change."
Think you know your limits?
We're often surprised by how much the world can throw us off-kilter on our "bad days". Where did our resilience go? What happened to the Yoga-Self?
On March 28 from 6:00-9:00pm, we'll explore our relationship to internal boundaries. Through yoga postures and techniques, we'll discover where our weaknesses are...and affirm our self-protective strengths! We will recruit inner wisdom to cultivate a model of healthy boundaries.
For the remainder of the weekend . . . Balance giving and receiving, and learn when, why, and how to say no by:
- Acknowledging and discerning how to cope with difficult feelings - Discovering your true self, even in anger, fear, and confusion - Creating an energy boundary to wrap yourself in safety - Redefining "Letting Go" - Understanding how to relate to various personalities - Acknowledging & releasing the shame that fractures your boundaries - Exploring internal & external boundaries - Learning 5 fool-proof "No's" that work every time - Practice yoga postures and visualizations for confidence, nurturance & grounding
Participants will experience seminar-style learning, yoga poses and visualizations for confidence, nurturance, and grounding; yoga psychology; breathing practices;, ancient wisdom and philosophy;, sensory practices;, mindfulness-based practices; chakra anatomy; personal reflection; lifestyle improvements and loving community. Join Erin for this transformative weekend. This weekend is suitable for everyone, no previous yoga experience required.
