Yoga Veda’s 200 hour course in Ayurvedic Nutrition, Yoga Therapy and Clinical Assessment is for anyone who would like to go in depth into their practice from an Ayurvedic Perspective. Join NAMA Certified Ayurvedic Wellness Practitioner and E-RYT Jacquelyn Richard on this journey into the wonderful world of Ayurveda. This certified course is offered by San Diego College of Ayurveda (Thailand branch) at Yoga Veda and is a pre-requisite to all further Ayurvedic courses including the 600 Hour Ayurvedic Health Educator Course and is certified by NAMA (National Ayurvedic Medical Association) and the International Association of Yoga Therapists. This course not only meets but exceeds the requirements for a Yoga Alliance RYT 200 Hour Teacher Training Program. Here's what you'll learn Main Ayurvedic Principles and Concepts Ayurvedic Nutrition Principles Ayurvedic Yoga Therapy Intro to Ayurvedic Herbology Yogic Ayurvedic Assessment & Methodology Theraputic Applicaiton of Yoga & Ayurveda Safe and Effective Teaching Methods Ayurveda looks at the whole being, including the body, mind, and spirit. An Ayurvedic practitioner determines your unique constitution, and develops a treatment plan designed to heal the root cause of imbalance in your body, whether that be in the mind, the physical body, the etheric or astral body. You will learn how to recognize whether a being is primarily of a vata constitution (air and ether), pitta (fire and water), or kapha constitution (water and earth), or a combination of the doshas, and which of the elements or doshas are out of balance. You will learn how to return harmony to the body and mind by balancing the elements within the doshas through daily breathing practices, yoga poses, foods, herbs, and lifestyle practices to balance your client in all situations and all seasons. It is clear that not every food is medicinal for all, not every yoga posture suits every person, not every health routine is a “one size fits all”. With the wisdom of Ayurveda, you can clearly determine the best way to nourish and vitalize your client by personalizing dietary choices, yoga and lifestyle routines.
