Stepping out of your environment is one of the best tools for reframing how you’re doing life. It’s like getting a “do over.”

Not only do you need time away from your normal routine, you get the most benefit from an approach that extends beyond the week of your retreat.

Your retreat includes: Seven nights of ocean view lodging.

Transportation to and from the airport (as long as we can coordinate times among travelers.)

Two Daily yoga classes with meditation.

Daily time to practice self-care tools, aka free time.

Where does all this awesomeness take place?

Where better to spend a week slowing down, going inward, and playing than a quiet coastal beach town? We’ll be spending the week in the Troncones playa area of Mexico. Part of what makes this place so special is that, while they get tourists, it’s not overly touristy. You won’t find numerous tourist activities, scores of beachfront vendors, and tacky shops. No chain restaurants here.

What you will find is a small town that welcomes visitors along with a slower pace. You’ll also find good restaurants and fun activities.

Walk down the beach and you can kayak in an estuary filled with migratory birds, try your hand at stand up paddle boarding (a great complement to yoga,) or take a surf lesson.

How about a hike to a cave, boogie boarding, or relaxing in the hammock? Or you can horseback ride down the beach and into the jungle or head into town for a little shopping.

The yoga will be appropriate to all levels, even those brand new to yoga. Our twice-daily classes focus on going inward, listening to what you need. Classes will be customized to your needs on a day-by-day basis.

Also no pressure if you want to skip a class.

Life before and after… Our journey together doesn’t begin or end the day of the retreat. You have a life before and after the retreat, right?

Your retreat will include a couple of virtual pre-retreat meetings. You’ll begin to set your intention and to lay the groundwork for getting the most from your retreat with the help of a recorded mediation and our group time. You’ll get your questions answered as well as meet your fellow retreatants.

And what about after you get home? We’ll meet again to check-in on your transition to life with all those marvelous people who weren’t part of your retreat. You’ll have a chance to share your successes and challenges as well as ask questions.
