Participants will learn: •Traditional Eastern mind-body practices and insights in the service of uncovering and treating the root causes of suffering, addiction and habituated and reactive thinking. •Iyengar yoga postures and alignment for physical wellbeing and moment to moment awareness. Practicing with intelligent alertness and sensitivity awakens the subtle mind/body connection that guides us into a state of inner harmony and balance. (open to all levels) •Contemporary approaches of neuroscience and Positive Psychology to the treatment of addiction and craving. The retreat weekend is divided into 9 sessions; 1.Exploring the Nature of Mind and Consciousness 2.Mastering the Change Process 3.Attentional Management vs. Time Management 4.Present Focus Awareness 5.Perceptual Clarity and Non-judgmental Communication 6.Developing Non-judgmental Awareness 7.Dealing With Crisis and Trauma 8.Dealing With Challenging Work/home relationships 9.Opening to Compassionate Presence. This training offers an exceptional opportunity to explore and deepen one’s understanding of these approaches professionally, while experiencing their transformative power personally through guided practice and hands-on demonstration. Come and experience how a simple practice of non-judgmental awareness can radically transform and heal our lives making each moment into a blooming paradise. In this retreat participants will develop the essential life skills needed to live more conscious, productive and creative lives at work and at our homes. Learn how each of us can meet each moment with deep peace, insight, and expansive awareness. What’s different about this training? This retreat program addresses the underlying causes and characteristics of our lack of awareness and inability to be fully mindful. Through a careful and systemic analysis of our “wrong” thinking patterns, toxic beliefs and other forms of “life-alienating” behavior we can learn to develop non-judgmental awareness. It is not for the faint of heart! We are asking ourselves to change how we see ourselves and the world. Participants will learn to live in the living presence openly, honestly and compassionately by staying in touch their authentic self. Participants will walk away from this retreat challenged, inspired and with practical and accessible tools and techniques to meet life’s daily challenges.
