Beyond Yoga In addition to practicing Yoga asanas, we place an emphasis upon pranayama (breathing) techniques that not only slow the breath down, it (they also help) helps to harness the busy mind and increases (increase) meditative states. By practicing aspects of Nada Yoga, which incorporates mantras, singing, or toning, you also free trapped energy held in the pranic body. It helps to transform stuck and blocked energy. The use of sound is a carrier wave for intentions, and when used with your heart can quickly help shift any situation.Its no secret we like to play with the power of sound. ?In addition to studying yoga asanas, we also place an emphasis upon pranayama (yogic breathing) techniques that help to direct the breath control and encourage a peaceful mind and increased meditative state. We also give more time with Nada yoga (the yoga of sound) which is interwoven with the helps to deepen the breath awareness. Student Support Through out the training we understand that each student goes through both emotions of joy as well of being challenged which is why we offer support. The support ranges from group sharing circles, both big and small group, and one and one time with each teacher to give you more individual attention. Our Venue The venue is Bhanuswari a quiet resort about 20 minutes from Ubud surrounded by rice fields, trees, and nature. There are two swimming pools. Two choices of room accommodations, standard and deluxe. The two meals of lunch and breakfast are vegetarian, offering a mix of live and cooked food, international and local cuisine. Finding your own path We offer various types of asana so you can personally reflect what is the style that best fits your own persona. Each time you come to the mat you're not the same person as you were the day before, each moment we are changing, new cells are being created, and dying, sometimes you might have over worked too much the day before which reflects in your body and how we respond to our body in each moment with authenticity and integrity. Deepening your ability to listen your body in your own self practice. After listening to your inner guru ( teacher) then it become the place where you transmit this to others when teaching a class.
Feeding the spirit We believe only part of our being is physical and the other part is our spiritual body. We incorporate the Integrating and awaken to your spiritual body through the recognition and in ceremony. The first day of each training we open with a traditional Balinese ceremony. Through out the training we also connect with rhythm of the moon cycles offering new and full moon ceremonies based on the North American Indian ceremonies. Understand a deeper connect to the elements of nature and the Great Spirit through the philosophy of Yoga which assists in feeding your spiritual body.
Why we focus on Nada Yoga? (the yoga of sound through inspiring and fun practical exercises of vocal play, singing, sounding through the indian scales and mantras). The practice of nada yoga assists us to become more aware through the aspect of listening, initially externally and eventually internally. When we cultivate a deeper awareness to conscious listening, our inner chatter slowly starts to dissolve which promotes inner peace. A peaceful mind is a place where joy and contentment naturally arise. Sound is intimately connected with our breath as both aspects are used to bring any one into the present moment..

Asana methodology - A detailed look into specific poses including standing, twists, inversions, forward and back bends, which include, alignment, foundation, adjustment, benefits,and how to safely get in and out of each pose.) ? Lots of teaching practice- Teaching each other begins in the first week. Beginning teaching one to one and slowly building up to teaching a small group for the final practicum. ? Introduction to the Chinese meridian system- To understand more about the unseen bodies that are within each physical body. We look at the meridians (subtle energy pathways) of the Chinese meridian system, which is where the prana ( life force energy) moves through out the body. This knowledge helps better understand how energy flows in our different asana poses. ? Yoga Philosophy- Includes Yoga Sutras and Bhagavad Gita ? Physical and Subtle anatomy- Understanding various systems of the body, how the bones, muscles and joints are connected into various asanas. What are chakras and how they work. ? Natural healing and Nutrition lectures-Let they food be thy medicine. ? Yoga Nidra- Reprogram the subconscious through rotating conscious ?
