The Asana focus unites the softness of Yin with Hatha and the physical of Yang with Vinyasa. Offering a comprehensive curriculum that unifies the interweaving of mind, body & spirit.
OUR TEAM : Our team of teachers are inspired and live a life based on the study and practice Yoga. We make up a diverse team of 5 members and collectively offer a vast pool of knowledge, wisdom and experience.Our team includes: A nurse/ nutritionist, a former zen monk now councillor, vinyasa expert, hatha yoga experts. Our senior teachers have been studying Yoga for over 15 years.

HEALTHY FOOD: Mandala Bali has its own exquisite vegetarian cafe and serves healthy organic food and unlimited fresh coconuts.
ASANA & METHODOLOGY: unites the softness of yin with hatha and the physical of yang with vinyasa. The methodology includes a detail break down of each pose covering the five main categories of standing poses, forward bends, backbends, twists, and inversions.How to safely go into and out of each pose, adjustments, modifications, foundation, alignment,symmetry and the benefits. TEACHING: Teaching one to one, and in small groups. The final practicum requires you to teach a 2 hour class. Weekly assessments are given through the course to help maintain your knowledge.
PRANAYAMA:The introduction to 7 main pranayama practices for one hour each day. Simultaneously improve or build your own relationship to your breathing consciously.
KRIYAS: The study and practice of Internal cleanses
BANDHAS: The study and practice of the 3 main locks in the body.
MUDRAS: Seals to redirect the energy.
MEDITATION: Introduction to three different meditation practices. 40 min each day
NADA YOGA (Yoga of Sound):Connecting to the power of sound through the study of Mantras, bhanjans ( devotional songs) vocal play, of singing at least 3 hours per wk
PHILOSOPHY: Study of the Yoga sutras and Bhagavad Gita
PHYSICAL AND SUBTLE ANATOMY: The study of the structure of the physical body including bones, systems and understanding the muscles used in various asanas and how it effects our system.
SUBTLE ANATOMY: An introduction to the unseen chakras, the 7 main energy centres that influence our beliefs, and consciousness.
CONSCIOUS EATING & NUTRITION: Deepen your relationship to food through silent breakfasts. Facts about sugar and what it does to the body What are super foods? What are good and bad fats?
YOGA NIDRA: Means yogic sleep, Understand and receive a few sessions of Yoga nidra, rotating consciousness to produce a deep state of relaxation.
CEREMONY: We see this journey together is sacred and we start and end with a ceremony and if time allows on the full or new moon we offer an optional ceremony.
KIDS YOGA: Play, be creative, and ignite your imagination. Offering two kids yoga classes to bring in the aspect of play.
PARTNER YOGA: Trust, feeling safe and being open to another as you support each other in various poses.
