Restorative Yoga is a quiet, supporting and deeply nourishing practice that allows the body the time and space that is necessary for healing. It is a very sweet and gentle practice, not about asking your body or mind to do more, but instead answers the question of “How can I let go and surrender more.” In this workshop, we will cultivate a sense of deep peace and relaxation by fully supporting the body with pillows, blankets, bolsters, and blocks. From allowing long-holds of these fully supported postures, we will begin to explore the areas that you may be unconsciously holding and explore ways in which you can invite opening into these places even more. All levels of practitioners welcome! No previous experience necessary.

Led by Brockell Briddle, RYT 200

Brockell completed her first Hatha Yoga Teacher’s Training while living on the Big Island of Hawaii. Since then, she has studied with various teachers and styles as she has worked to refine herself and her practice as a both a student and teacher of yoga.In 2012, Brockell met Tias Little and became a student of the Prajna Yoga curriculum. She has spent the past few years diving deeply into the study of anatomy, alignment, and yoga therapy. Working now to complete her 500 hour Prajna Teacher Certification, her teaching style favors alignment and deep restorative postures over rigorous fire and flow.
